Senior Network/ Systems Administrator

Position Summary:
The candidate will be part of a network system administration team to support our Calgary and global office infrastructures. The responsibilities of this role will consist of maintaining office firewalls, Wireless access points, Microsoft Exchange, Sharepoint, Xen/Hyper V and VmWare. Virtual Server experience is desirable.
The position requires a highly motivated individual to work with in a highly skilled and dynamic team. The candidate must be proactive, dynamic and team orientated. Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
The candidate must have a minimum of 7+ years experience in working within office environments managing local and remote branch offices.
Primary Roles/ Responsibilities:
- Firewall administration
- Monitor performance of ISP's to ensure that SLA's are being achieved.
- Microsoft Exchange Administration
- Active Directory , LDAP and Radius setup and administration
- DNS administration
- Manage and monitor traffic on internal and external networks.
- Ensure backups take place in accordance with Business Continuity plan.
- Maintain mail, DNS, Web, printing, file sharing, and remote access services.

Position Summary:
The support specialist is responsible for desktop and user support to all of Amaya staff, including installation and configuration of new systems, troubleshooting and problem solving of existing systems, and support and training of common applications and operating systems.
Primary Roles/ Responsibilities:

- Deploying new desktop systems and rebuilding a deploying older systems

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for a high-paced position in designing games for a leading developer of online casino. This person will be able to use their creative and mathematical skills to develop games that will be played by millions of people around the world. You will be working with highly motivated teams that are bent on releasing the most cutting edge and fun games in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Design fun, innovative math models for optimal player appeal
- Accountable for the full scope of game design (concept to market activities) that involves basic creative thinking, industry and competitive knowledge and technical skills
- Create innovative game math models for slot/video machines and other casino gaming applications that provide entertainment for players, as well as provide revenue for the customer
- Calculate payback percentages, hit frequencies, standard deviation tables, and hit distribution characteristics for all games, features, progressives, and bonuses
- Utilize programming tools to verify math models and create demos
- Write simulation program code to analyze game play in order to maximize player enjoyment, and analyze results of the simulations to verify games are paying properly
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets for lab submission, and check all calculations and formats file to specifications
- Update and improve existing code templates and develop new or improve spreadsheet payout templates
- Work closely with regulatory agencies to resolve any regulatory concerns
Required Competencies and Experience:
- Knowledge of advanced probability models and methods of solution; the ability to find dependencies in math structures; and, strong logic and problem solving skills are essential
- Prefer candidates with basic scripting/programming skills with languages commonly used for prototyping (e.g. Python, VBA), with an emphasis in probabilistic algorithms and analysis of volatility
- Proficient in the use of Excel spreadsheets, especially linking and formulas, and the application of calculating probabilities in spreadsheets
- Understand player preferences / likes / dislikes
- Strong creativity and imagination skills
- Must be able to read, edit, and adapt existing code
- Strong understanding of the software development process
